Traxxas X MAXX 8s VXL-8s esc W/ 1275kv brushless motor READ DESCRIPTION. ESC stopped working and will not turn on. Please assume the ESC is bad and needs replaced. The motor spins free and smooth and does work properly. Only issue with the motor is on the back end plate it has 2 small cracks in the plastic that makes the top portion of the cap bow out a little.
